Ioana Țibulcă is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Stock Exchanges within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). She earned her PhD in Finance in 2013 with a dissertation on tax convergence in an international context. Her multidisciplinary academic background also includes degrees in Law (University of Bucharest), Corporate Finance, International Business Communication, and Tax Law.
Her teaching portfolio includes courses in Insurance and Reinsurance, General Finance, Corporate Financial Management, Tax Law, and Corporate Taxation, which she delivers in German, English, and Romanian. In addition to her teaching duties, she is actively involved in supervising undergraduate and master’s theses, as well as serving on admission and examination boards.
In her research, Dr. Țibulcă specializes in fiscal convergence, tax policy, corporate finance, and international financial relations. She is the author of numerous articles in prestigious academic journals and has received multiple awards for her scientific contributions. Furthermore, she has completed international research stays at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the Poznań University of Economics and Business.
